Microneedling

Advanced microneedling protocols tailored to support smoother texture, improved firmness and skin quality.

Overview

Microneedling is a precise treatment that works with the skin’s natural repair response. At Bavary Clinic, we select from traditional and radiofrequency-assisted techniques according to your skin quality, treatment goals and tolerance for recovery.

Whether you are concerned about the appearance of acne marks, enlarged pores, fine lines or a loss of firmness, your plan is built around the specific changes you would like to see. Selected protocols may be combined with platelet-rich plasma or other products where appropriate, following an individual suitability assessment.

We focus on measured progress and thoughtful treatment intervals. Your practitioner will explain the technique, realistic timescale, recovery and aftercare so that every stage of your skin journey feels considered and well supported.

Understanding Microneedling in more detail

Controlled micro-injuries, with radiofrequency energy in selected treatments, are used to encourage skin remodelling and improve the appearance of texture.

Following a consultation, the treatment area is cleansed and prepared. A specialist device creates carefully controlled microchannels in the skin; radiofrequency microneedling also delivers energy at selected depths. Parameters are adjusted to your skin and the concerns being treated.

Temporary redness, sensitivity, swelling or pinpoint marks can occur, particularly with more intensive treatments. Improvements usually develop progressively rather than overnight, and several appointments may be recommended for certain concerns.

After treatment we will explain how to keep your skin comfortable, which products to avoid temporarily and when you can safely return to exercise and your usual routine. Any add-on product, including exosome-based preparations, will be discussed in terms of suitability and evidence.

The Bavary Approach™

Clinical judgement before treatment

“The treatment itself is only one part of the recommendation.”

We do not begin with procedures. We begin by understanding you, your concerns and what will genuinely support a balanced, long-term result.

Sometimes that means the treatment you are considering. Sometimes it means preparation first, choosing a different approach or waiting until the time is right.

Our role is not simply to perform treatments. It is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based judgement.

Why we may not recommend treatment

Microneedling may need to be postponed if you have an active skin infection, inflamed breakouts, an impaired skin barrier or certain medical conditions. A history of poor healing, abnormal scarring or pigmentation changes also needs careful assessment.

Radiofrequency treatments and adjunctive products have additional considerations. We will review medications, medical devices, pregnancy status and your treatment history before making a recommendation.

Results and ongoing treatment planning

Results vary according to the treatment selected, your starting point and how your body responds. Some changes may be visible after one appointment, while other goals may require a longer-term plan.

A course or combination of treatments may be recommended, but only where it is clinically appropriate. Ongoing care is tailored rather than prescribed as a fixed schedule.

Frequently asked questions

General guidance only. Your practitioner will explain what applies to you and the treatment being considered.

Both use controlled needles, but RF microneedling also delivers radiofrequency energy to targeted skin depths. The most suitable approach depends on your skin and treatment objectives.

This varies according to the concern and the technique used. Some clients choose a series, with spacing recommended to allow appropriate skin recovery.

Redness, warmth, swelling and sensitivity may occur. Recovery tends to be more noticeable after deeper or RF-based protocols; we will explain the expected downtime.

They are different adjuncts considered for selected treatment plans. Their suitability, evidence and limitations will be discussed rather than assumed to be necessary.

It may improve the appearance of certain textural scars over time. Your practitioner will assess scar type and depth to determine whether it is an appropriate option.
