Laser Hair Removal - Face
Precise facial laser hair reduction, tailored to your skin, hair growth and individual concerns.
Overview
Unwanted facial hair can be especially frustrating when it requires frequent removal or causes irritation. At Bavary Clinic, our facial laser treatments are planned with a delicate, individual approach, respecting the different hair-growth patterns and sensitivities found across the face.
Our options include the full face, face and neck, upper lip, chin, lip and chin, sideburns and neck. We assess the type of hair and the reason for growth before recommending treatment, as fine facial hair and hormonally influenced areas may respond differently.
We want you to feel informed about the treatment process, expected reduction and the possibility of ongoing maintenance. Every appointment is carried out with appropriate eye protection and attention to your skin’s comfort.
Results
Results vary between individuals. Images should only be used with informed patient consent and should accurately represent the treatment course and timeframe.

Understanding Facial Laser Hair Removal in more detail
Laser hair reduction targets pigment within suitable hair follicles to gradually reduce unwanted growth in selected facial areas.
Your practitioner will assess your skin tone, hair thickness, facial hair distribution, medical history and recent hair-removal methods. Certain types of fine or light-coloured hair may not be suitable for laser treatment, and facial hair growth may have a hormonal component.
The agreed area is treated with carefully selected laser settings and appropriate eye protection. You may feel brief warmth or a snapping sensation, with some temporary redness or perifollicular swelling afterwards. Several sessions are generally needed to work with the hair-growth cycle.
We will explain the recommended treatment intervals, shaving guidance, sun protection and aftercare. If the pattern of hair growth suggests an underlying hormonal concern, medical assessment may also be worth discussing.

The Bavary Approach™
Clinical judgement before treatment
“The treatment itself is only one part of the recommendation.”
We do not begin with procedures. We begin by understanding you, your concerns and what will genuinely support a balanced, long-term result.
Sometimes that means the treatment you are considering. Sometimes it means preparation first, choosing a different approach or waiting until the time is right.
Our role is not simply to perform treatments. It is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based judgement.
Your treatment journey
Your exact journey will be tailored to the treatment, your individual needs and the recommendations made during assessment.
Consultation
We take time to understand your concerns, medical history and treatment goals before making a recommendation.
Preparation
Any preparation required before treatment will be explained clearly, including relevant skincare or lifestyle guidance.
Treatment
Your treatment is carried out in a calm, controlled clinical setting with your comfort and safety considered throughout.
Aftercare
You receive tailored guidance on recovery, aftercare and what to expect in the days following treatment.
Review
Your progress can be reviewed and any next steps are recommended only where they are appropriate.
Why we may not recommend treatment
Facial laser treatment may not be recommended for unsuitable hair types, recent tanning, certain medications, active skin irritation or specific medical conditions. Fine facial hair can sometimes respond unpredictably, including with increased growth.
Burns, irritation and pigment changes are possible. We will assess risk, advise on a patch test where required and recommend another approach when laser is unlikely to be suitable.
Results and ongoing treatment planning
Results vary according to the treatment selected, your starting point and how your body responds. Some changes may be visible after one appointment, while other goals may require a longer-term plan.
A course or combination of treatments may be recommended, but only where it is clinically appropriate. Ongoing care is tailored rather than prescribed as a fixed schedule.
Frequently asked questions
General guidance only. Your practitioner will explain what applies to you and the treatment being considered.
Very fine, light or vellus hair is often a poor target for laser, and treatment can sometimes stimulate growth. We will assess suitability before recommending it.
Laser may help manage suitable coarse hair, although hormonal factors can affect response and maintenance needs. It does not treat the underlying hormonal condition.
Several sessions are generally required, and some clients need maintenance. Your practitioner will recommend a plan based on the area and hair type.
You may need to avoid makeup and irritating products for a short period if the skin is red or sensitive. Follow your practitioner’s aftercare instructions.
Yes. Hair needs to remain in the follicle for laser treatment to target it effectively. We will explain when to stop waxing or plucking before your visit.
